Haldi Ritual: The Haldi Ceremony is a traditional pre-wedding ritual where a paste made from turmeric, sandalwood, and other natural ingredients is lovingly applied to the bride and groom by their family and friends. This ritual is meant to protect them from negative energy, bring good luck, and give them a radiant glow for their wedding day. The ceremony is filled with joyful music, laughter, and blessings, creating a festive atmosphere as loved ones gather to celebrate. It is a time for fun, laughter, and heartfelt blessings as the couple is showered with positive energy to start their journey together.
Music / Dancing (Ladies Sangeet): After the Haldi ceremony, the celebration continues with the Ladies Sangeet—a lively pre-wedding celebration typically held in honor of the bride. The women from both families gather to sing traditional folk songs, dance, and celebrate with music. This event is filled with joyful energy, where everyone joins in the fun, dancing to traditional and Bollywood hits. The Sangeet marks the beginning of a more festive, musical atmosphere leading up to the wedding.
Dinner: Following the Ladies Sangeet, a traditional dinner is served, offering a variety of delicious, festive dishes. Guests relax and enjoy the meal, continuing to celebrate the bride and groom’s upcoming wedding in a relaxed and intimate setting.
